Clean Normal Stains and Dirt
To clean normal wear and tear stains, start by using a soft bristle brush or cold water to remove any loose dirt. Next, clean the fabric with a mix of water and soap, rubbing the cushion with a soft brush. Rinse off the soap with cold water, and let the cushion air-dry. Avoid using hot water or a dryer for best results.
Clean Deep Stains and Dirt
Some stains are just too stubborn for the standard cleaning method. If that is the case, follow these steps to get rid of deep stains.
Vacuum your cushions and make sure the fabric is dry
Move the cushions to a well-ventilated area and prepare a 10% bleach solution in water
First test the solution on a hidden area, before applying it to the rest of the fabric using a spray bottle
Lightly scrub the stained area with a sponge or soft bristle brush. Start at the outside of the stain and make your way inwards, rinsing your brush or sponge frequently
Let the cleaning solution sit on the stain for around 1 hour, then rinse out the bleach thoroughly
Allow the fabric to air dry, and repeat as necessary
